Embroidery Enabler Seal of Approval

Don't you think it should be like a seal of excellence? I can totally picture it! I received this question in my comments from a very wise Anonymous embroidery lover:Anonymous said...I am new to embroidery, and just stumbled across this blog. I don't have anything negative to say, however it is always nice to know where to start, or in this case where not to start. With that being said, can you tell me where to start spending my "allowance"?November 2, 2008 3:04 PMWhy of COURSE I can. By no means is this list exclusive. If I haven't listed your favorite digitizer, let me know. Here's some of my personal favorites:

http://www.lynniepinnie.com/

http://www.swakembroidery.com/ (purchase your Band to Bow designs here if you must have them, but beware of stitch quality issues)

http://www.secretsof.com/ (I love My Fair Lady for heirloom embroidery)

http://www.missmarymackdesigns.etsy.com/

http://www.tlcscustomcreations.etsy.com/

http://www.dbembroiderydesigns.etsy.com/

http://www.myglamboutique.com/store/Default.asp

http://www.adorableappliques.etsy.com/

http://stores.ebay.com/Designed-Just-4-You_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZQ2d999QQftidZ2QQtZkm

http://www.lilrascalsdesigns.com/ (for super cute vacation designs)

http://www.digistitches.com/ for really innovative in the hoop projects

http://www.bunnycup.com/

http://www.designsbyjuju.com/

http://www.embroidery-boutique.com/

www.StitchOnTime.com

In case you can't tell - I'm on a bit of an eBay rant too. I avoid them when at all possible because they have made selling so miserable for my favorite sellers! Mary is the only exception and I recommend that you purchase from her by using her email address on her shop's homepage. She'll even sport you a discount!

This list is great. I am an ex customer of the famous or infamous B2B. I did not have big problems, just couldn't seem to fit in. Here is a link I didn't see on your list, that the new to embroidery can try out www.embroidery-boutique.com

I can add that I also purchase from digistitches.com
Her in the hoop projects are the best I have found. I would recommend them.

After reading this blog I need some help. I am looking for a santa applique design. I need to mail my three grandchildren sweatshirts soon. If you have purchased a santa and are happy with it, please share your source with me.

I was just emailed this blog and I have to say that I couldn't have said it better. I spent tones of money with the Queen Bee Dee?!?!?!??? I never received my designs in a timely manner and I was even removed from bidding on her auctions on Ebay because I had to break down and file a complaint with PP to get the designs that I paid for but didn't receive on the CD's. Stupid really cause I had other ID's to buy from. She eventually lifted the ban. I was also a member of her Yahoo group and her Boutique group. I didn't post much because it kinda made me sick how all the ladies were calling her Queen Bee and crap, like she was some sort of Goddess?? PLEASE!! She has some cute designs but they don't always sew out very good. Lots of tangling of the thread.

I finally had enough and decided to start my own digitizing business in which I have done very well at. It took me a little bit to learn how to do it but I finally got it and have been having a blast. Although I know that I am not perfect I try my best to serve my customers with respect and to help them with as much as I can. So I know there are nicer, more professional digitizers out there. I love JuJu and lil rascals. I use to use a lot of there designs before I started my own. If you are wondering, yes, I am listed on the Good list. Thank you for whoever has posted this blog.

Is it Queen Bee Dee or Queen B----- Dee. I guess it is for the individual to pick. As a mom of 4 all under the age of 3, I have to be careful where I spend my money, and who I spend any of my free time with.
Thanks EmbEnabler

I do not know if any of you go to EmbLibrary.com but they have awesome designs and great prices. I love all the ones listed as well but find at that EmbLibrary seems to have things others are not doing as well. They are affordable and have sales all the time. Every month is a new set of freebies and they have the .17 centsational designs. just my few cents worth. Thanks EE for this blog. It will be helpful in finding more great designs for the addiction we all have.
